Certified as a CPA in the states of Colorado, Nebraska and Alaska, Thearon Staddon has been working in the accounting field for over eight years. Thearon was a pastor for twenty-three years prior to his experience in humanitarian aid in Khartoum, Sudan, in Africa. Since his return from Afrida, he has been working as an accountant and auditor, specializing in audits and financial reviews for non-profit organizations and solving clergy tax issues, for which his pastoral background has been extremely helpful. He also taught an upper division class "Advanced Accounting/Accounting Systems" in Lincoln, Nebraska for Doane College.

Thearon's audit experience has been very helpful in his accounting and bookkeeping for retail and manufacturing concerns.
For example, a few years ago the owner of a service provider in the tire industry asked Thearon to do some accounting for him on an interim basis and Thearon found that every two weeks or so the bank deposit stream seemed to take a slight dip. After a little research and consultation with the owner Thearon found that occasional deposits were not making it all the way to the bank. That finding resulted in savings of about $50,000 annually for the shop!
